Disconnect a platform

In the app, go to Settings, Connected accounts and remove Google, Facebook or Instagram. We stop receiving data from that platform immediately and delete the access token, so nothing further reaches us and we can no longer act on your behalf there. Content already imported stays until you delete the business or your account, both described below. That is deliberate rather than an oversight: a disconnection is often temporary, and Instagram does not allow re-reading messages from before a reconnection, so deleting them on disconnect would lose them permanently.

Delete your account and everything in it

The fastest way is in the app: go to Settings, scroll to Delete your account, and confirm. This immediately and permanently removes your login, your businesses, and all imported reviews, comments, messages and reports. It can't be undone.

Prefer us to do it? Email privacy@thebuddylabs.com from your account email with the subject "Delete my account" and we'll complete it within 30 days and confirm by email.

You do not have a Blipzy account

If a business you dealt with uses Blipzy, we may hold what you wrote to them: a review, a comment, a direct message, or your email address if they asked you for a review. You do not need an account, and you do not need their permission, to ask us about it.

Email privacy@thebuddylabs.com and tell us the name of the business and roughly when you contacted them. You can ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We answer within 30 days.

To stop review request emails from one business, the fastest route is the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email itself. That takes effect immediately and we keep it even if that business later deletes their account, so nobody can forget it by starting over.

To stop automatic direct messages from a business on Instagram or Facebook, reply to the conversation with STOP. Blipzy stops replying to you for that business straight away.

Facebook and Instagram data

If you remove Blipzy from your Facebook or Instagram settings (Settings and privacy, Apps and websites), you can also request deletion of anything we hold from those platforms using the email above. The same 30 day window applies.
